Life ...

So, I found out today that an old friend of mine passed away. I didn't even know she was sick. Didn't know that she was dying, but now she's gone. It's so very sad. I mean, I haven't seen her in years, but the memories are very fond, and now very tender. I still feel in a little bit of shock looking at my email inbox and seeing messages from her there from only a few short weeks ago.

This is as a LOUD reminder to me that life is so precious, don't take anything for granted. This reminds me that I must enjoy what I can, do what I can to help others, and love who I can while I'm still here on this amazing journey called life. We never ever know when our time is up, do we.

In looking up some quotes on life, these are some great ones I came across. Take them to heart ...

"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly."

"Carpe diem! Rejoice while you are alive; enjoy the day; live life to the fullest; make the most of what you have. It is later than you think."

"Nothing is more highly to be prized than the value of each day"

Ok, one more ...

"You can't do anything about the length of your life, but you can do something about its width and depth"

Embrace life ... love life, and it will love and embrace you back. That's an original by me!

Beyond H2O / Wellness | Lorri Ratzlaff Testimonial

This is why I joined Beyond Yours ... and a few other funny tidbits =D

Do YOU believe?

BELIEVE! This seems to be the saying of the day. Particularly up here in Vancouver, BC where the 2010 Winter Olympics are just around the corner. All of the advertising ends with "do you believe?". Professional athletes from around the globe are going to gather here to fulfill their lifelong dreams! They are turning their belief into reality! They BELIEVE!

I have been believing my whole life, in religion, in God, in my family and friends, but rarely in myself. Until just a few years ago that is. When I first found network marketing I believed that the possibilities it provided could help me make a difference, that I could make money, great money, and help not only myself and my children, but those around me. That I could help those that couldn't find the help they needed. It's taken a few years, and several companies, but I still hold that belief, stronger than ever! Network marketing is such a dynamic and powerful force in our economy today, it can't be ignored anymore. When the likes of Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki are not only recognizing it as a valid source of income, but are getting involved in it themselves, that tells me something! It speaks volumes actually.

Are you prepared to think outside the box? Are you prepared to go that extra mile and do what it takes to become a success through networking and social marketing? If you are, what are your reasons? What drives and motivates you?

We're in this together ... to help others and hopefully make a tiny indentation in the society of today, to make things better!

I've told you my story here, a nutshell anyway. What is YOUR story?

Day 43 - Technical Difficulties!

Hi folks - Lorri here

I made up a great little video to share with you today, but had some technical difficulties in that my daughter took the connector cord with her, so I can't upload it to my computer. So, I will do that when she comes back home in a couple of days.

I've not written anything for a little while as life has been full, and there are only 24 hours in a day for ALL of us! How we chose to spend those 24 hours is really important ... obviously! So, the last week has not gone according to my challenge plan, which I explain further in my video, but I have learned from it, and it has been a postive experience.

Not completing what we set out to do can feel like a failure, and failure can teach us so much ... we may approach if as a difficulty, but don't HAVE to. We can learn from it and have a greater capacity to live life to the fullest because of it!

So, with that in mind, stay tuned for my next video ... and ENJOY THE SNOW! I am watching it fly bye in a faily horizontal position as I write this.

Life is busy ... time to prioritize

Time management ... this little diddy reflects somewhat of how I'm feeling this week (not completely, but it's close). It's only getting crazier as we're getting closer to Christmas.

All I'd like to do on today's blog is guarantee to you, my peeps (HAHA) that I am STICKING TO THE PLAN and time management is probably THE most important thing with the holidays approaching.

Good luck and I challenge you to do the same ... we can all get through this together, with a little time management!

Have a great week!!

people

Wanted to share a reflection on the different people in our lives, and WHAT A GOOD THING it is! All these people are in our lives for different reasons and purposes. There are parents, siblings, spouses, children, friends, aquaintences, co-workers ... all with different purposes. We love, respect and admire them for different reasons. They love you for being who you are. Embrace this ~ be grateful for it!
